SPEDPAC of Bedford strives to:
- Collaborate with school district personnel to help facilitate and advocate for supports, services
and inclusion of children with disabilities.
- Facilitate and coordinate community supports for children and their families by networking
with local agencies to provide information, trainings, educational resources, referrals, and
social opportunities.
- Educate ourselves and our community via guest speakers and forums on a range of topics
(i.e., the IEP process, changes in regulations and legislation, advocacy, caregiver supports,
special needs trust, etc.).
- Empower each other to be advocates for our children and offer support and friendship
to all parents facing the unique challenges of having a child with special needs.
